| 1957 Vintage Wooden Lightning |

This is a strikingly beautiful boat fully restored and ready to sail. She has been wrapped in 6oz fiberglass cloth and epoxy resin to add strength and durability to the outside of the hull. She has a kick up 'beaching type' rudder and a fully retractable centerboard. I deleted the bench type seats during the refit which makes the interior much more spacious and user friendly. The inside of the boat is floored with bright finished pine wood, the deck is mahogany and the rest of the boat is cedar. She has a newer spruce mast and brand new sails. All of the deck hardware has been upgraded but she retains her original 'simple' rigging configuration. She has a full cover made of Sunbrella fabric that can be used with the mast either up or down as well as matching rudder, tiller and rope pockets. Her trailer has a new axel and tires and is equipped with a Light bar for towing. Be advised that she is a 'Wooden Boat' and requires more care and attention than her plastic cousins but the grace and beauty she displays is well worth the effort. If you're looking for a great boat for comfortable sailing with family or friends she is just what you want. I would like to move on to a larger boat so its time to sell her.
