About our "Learn to Sail" Summer Camps...
  • Two age categories:
        Junior (8 to 12 years)
        Youth (13 to 18 years)
    (We have adult classes, too!)
  • Students must be competent swimmers
  • US Sailing certified instructors & small class size
  • US Coast Guard approved life jackets are supplied
  • Each class is 20 hours
  • Cost is $220* per class
    *Discount rate for groups (5 or more). Contact the Sailing School Director for details
Beginners of all ages learn to...
  • Rig and launch a boat
  • Sail boat upwind, downwind, and perform basic maneuvers
  • Dock and retrieve a boat
  • Understand the points of sail and beginning sailing theory
All subsequent classes build on this foundation.

2012 Vancouver Lake Sailing School Programs

It's going to be an exciting year with classes, social events, and racing opportunities
for people and children that are new or returning to sailing. The sailing school year
schedule is being finalized, and should be available here by mid-January.
